The Lisse Garden Bouquet

The Keukenhof is one of the worlds largest flower gardens, and its situated in the Netherlands. Its not surprising, given its location, that its widely known for its tulips (among other flowers). Word is that each fall, gardeners plant 7 million bulbs, and the flowerbeds are synchronized to ensure blooms throughout the parks eight-week opening. Its utterly genius and absolutely astounding to witness in person.

Our Lisse Garden Bouquet pays homage to these fleeting but fabulous tulip gardens, with an armload of the flowers splayed across the span of a rectangular glass vase. The petals go from mostly yellow to mostly pink to white streaked with purple, and the lot of them harmonize gorgeously. Each petal and leaf have been hand-cut, shaped, and painted by fine artists in China, so this bouquet will look as fresh in six months as it does today.
